Lessons

Jerremiah has been teaching music for over 20 years, for all skill levels and most styles of guitar, as well as music theory. He has prepared students for ABRSM and RCM music exams, school music exams, and entry into college music programs. Jerremiah Smith currently teaches in person at locations in Naperville, Wheaton, and Glen Elyn, IL. Online lessons are available as well. Bio

Jerremiah Smith has performed as a soloist in the United States and Bermuda, and boasts an eclectic mix of original compositions and charming arrangements. His original composition, Joy, received first prize in MakeAStar.com’s solo guitar competition. Jerremiah has performed live on Northstate Public Radio, has performed for many musical theater productions, weddings, both corporate and private events, and has enjoyed performing as a member of several rock bands.

Jerremiah began teaching guitar in California in 2003 while completing his BA and MA in music at California State University, Chico. He continued teaching in California until 2011 when he accepted a full time teaching position at the Bermuda School of Music. Jerremiah continued to teach at the Bermuda School of Music until leaving Bermuda in 2023. Jerremiah is now teaching in Naperville, IL and the surrounding areas.

Although his specialty is classical guitar, lessons are available for most styles of guitar. Jerremiah also teaches ukulele, composition, and music theory. Online lessons are available.
